Modern Fabrics E-commerce & Retail POS
A multi-brand fabric and clothing store combining a public e-commerce site with a custom back office and a full retail POS covering sales, purchasing, payroll and commissions.
A fabric retailer carrying dozens of designer brands is running two businesses at once: a shop with a counter, stock and staff, and an online store that has to show the same inventory without either side drifting out of sync.
Off-the-shelf e-commerce handles the storefront but stops at the shop door. It does not price a walk-in sale, record a purchase from a supplier, process a return across both channels, run staff payroll, or calculate sales commission. Those end up in separate software or on paper, and the numbers stop agreeing.
The requirement was one system behind both: a customer-facing store and a complete retail back office sharing the same products, stock and reporting.
A custom e-commerce platform with an integrated point-of-sale and back office, built on a single product and inventory model.
Online store
A browsable catalogue organised by brand and category across dozens of designer labels, with product pages, search, cart and checkout — and content managed through the custom admin rather than a plugin stack.
Point of sale
A counter-facing till for walk-in trade, working against the same live stock as the website, so a sale in the shop is reflected online immediately.
Purchasing and inventory
Supplier purchasing, goods receiving and stock movement tracking, with returns handled on both the sales and purchase sides so inventory and finances stay reconciled.
Staff, payroll and commission
Staff records with payroll processing, expense tracking, and commission management calculated from recorded sales rather than worked out separately.
Reporting
Reporting across sales, purchases, returns, stock position, expenses and commissions, drawn from one dataset so the shop and the online store are measured together.
The shop counter and the online store run on the same products, stock and reporting, removing the reconciliation work that comes from operating a separate till alongside an e-commerce platform.
Purchasing, returns, payroll, expenses and commission all sit inside the same back office, so the retail side of the business is managed in one place rather than across several tools.
