Al-Badr School Management System
A multi-campus school management system covering admissions through to alumni — academics, examinations, fee collection, payroll, library, inventory and parent communication.
School administration is unusually broad. A single institution manages admissions, enrolment, timetables, attendance, examinations and results, fee vouchers and collection, staff payroll, library stock, lab and IT assets, visitor logs and parent communication.
Most schools handle these in separate registers and spreadsheets, which becomes unmanageable once there is more than one campus. Fee reconciliation breaks down first: discounts, fines, partial payments, refunds and carried-forward balances are genuinely difficult to track accurately by hand.
The requirement was one system covering the full academic and administrative cycle, operating across multiple campuses each with their own shifts, settings and admission numbering.
A school management platform built around a multi-campus model, where every campus carries its own shifts, settings, notification configuration and admission number sequence.
Admissions and student records
Admission inquiries with follow-up tracking and entrance tests, converting into student records with enrolment history, family and guardian links, emergency contacts, previous-school details, electives, transfers and leaving requests.
Academics and examinations
Academic sessions, classes, sections, subjects, subject-teacher allocation and section in-charges, with period-based timetabling and lecture counting. Examinations cover exam types, per-class subject configuration, marks entry, configurable grading scales and grade bands, results and certificates. Batch promotion moves students between classes at session end, with automatic promotion suggestions.
Fees and finance
The fee engine handles fee heads, class-level pricing, per-student overrides, commitments, voucher generation, itemised payments allocated across heads, fines, discounts, refunds, reversals and student credit balances — alongside general expenses, other income and finance categories.
Attendance and staff
Student and staff attendance captured through biometric enrolment, punch records and gate scans, with a correction workflow for disputes. Staff management extends to a full payroll module: salary structures and components, payslips with line-level detail, adjustments, advances and recovery, leave balances, resignations and settlements.
Operations and communication
Library book, copy and loan tracking; lab items and IT asset registers with issue, movement and repair history; inventory covering products, purchases, sales and stock movements; ID card generation from configurable templates; visitor and dispatch logging; and a complaints workflow with categories and status updates.
Parents and staff are reached through in-app conversations, announcements, notification messages and homework diary entries, with assignments and submissions handled online. Bulk data import runs through tracked batches with per-row results.
Admissions, academics, examinations, fees, payroll, library, inventory and communication now sit in one platform spanning multiple campuses, replacing the separate registers and spreadsheets each of those functions would otherwise need.
Fee handling in particular is auditable end to end — every voucher, allocation, fine, discount, refund and reversal is recorded against the student rather than reconciled by hand.
